KUTA BALI - Indonesia Hotel News ID | 4TH ARCHIPELAGO CULINARY FESTIVE 2014 yang telah diadakan pada 18 Oktober 2014 di Aston Ungasan Hotel & Convention Center dengan menghadirkan para Chef, Bartender dan Barista dari enam belas hotel dan vila Archipelago yang berada di Bali. Winston Hanes selaku Regional General Manager Archipelago International mengatakan bahwa dengan diadakannya acara ini dapat menghadirkan bakat para chef lokal dan mendorong motivasi mereka serta sekaligus dapat mengangkat industri food & beverage di Bali secara keseluruhan.

Sebagai pendatang baru dalam keluarga Archipelago International, Harper Kuta Bali Hotel sangat antusias mengikuti kompetisi ini dengan menunjuk para staf berbakat untuk berpartisipasi. Kompetisi ini diwakili oleh I Wayan Arta Ceri (Bartender Competition), Gede Indra (Barista Competition), Putu Priyanta dan Eka Septiawan (Cooking Competition).

Sedangkan juri yang ditunjuk untuk Kompetisi Bartender adalah Ngurah Udayana (CTP Manager and Brand Ambassador PT. Balimoon Indonesia), Winston Hanes (Regional General Manager of Archipelago International) dan I Made Sumardika (Corporate Food and Beverages Manager – East Indonesia of Archipelago International).

Dari ketiga kompetisi tersebut, dengan bangga kami mengumumkan Harper Kuta Bali Hotel meraih juara ketiga untuk Best Bartender dan Best Cocktail dari tujuh belas peserta. Light Rum Bacardi yang dikombinasikan dengan Balimoon melon merupakan perpaduan yang sempurna dan mendapatkan poin yang tinggi dari para juri. Harper Kuta Bali Hotel sangat berbahagia untuk pencapaian pertama yang luar biasa dalam acara Archipelago.

Kompetisi Bartender dibagi menjadi dua bagian yang berfokus pada kreatifitas cocktail dan mocktail, diikuti dengan tata cara dan aturan internasional. Dalam kompetisi, peserta diberi tantangan oleh para juri untuk menyajikan satu gelas cocktail dan satu gelas mocktail dalam sepuluh menit termasuk dengan persiapan.

KUTA BALI - Indonesia News Hotel ID | The 4th Archipelago Culinary Fest 2014 and Job Fair held on 18 October 2014 at the recently opened Aston Ungasan Hotel & Convention Center bringing together the best chefs, bartenders and barista from Archipelago’s eclectic Bali hotel collection of 16 hotels and villas. Winston Hanes, Regional General Manager of Archipelago International said that the purpose of the event is to showcase the talent of local chefs and boost the motivation while at the same time intends to raise the profile of Bali’s Food and Beverage Industry in general.

As a new comer in Archipelago International’s family, Harper Kuta Bali Hotel was enthusiasm participating the annual event by appointed our talented staff to join the competition. Harper Kuta Bali Hotel was represented by I Wayan Ceri Arta (Bartender Competition), Gede Indra (Barista Competition), Putu Priyanta and Eka Septiawan (Cooking Competition).

From three competitions, proudly to announce that Harper Kuta Bali Hotel achieved the 3rd winner of Best Bartender and Best Cocktail from seventeen participants. Light Rum Bacardi infused with Balimoon melon was a great combination and got high percentage score from the judges after they tasted the cocktail. Harper Kuta Bali Hotel is proud for the first extraordinary achievement in Archipelago’s event.

Bartender competition itself divided into two parts which focusing on creative cocktails as well as non-alcoholic mocktails followed with the international ordinances and rules. In the competition, participants were given a challenge to serve one glass of cocktail and one glass of mocktail in ten minutes included with the preparation.

The judges for Bartender competition are Mr. Ngurah Udayana (CTP Manager and Brand Ambassador PT. Balimoon Indonesia), Mr. Winston Hanes (Regional General Manager of Archipelago International) and Mr. I Made Sumardika (Corporate Food and Beverages Manager – East Indonesia of Archipelago International).
